Na jaren zoeken, ontdekken professor Keir en zijn gezelschap het graf van een Egyptische konningin Tera, wier rechterhand werd afgehakt door de priesters die haar, volgens de legende, hebben vermoord. Ze nemen de mummie, de hand en nog drie andere vreemde voorwerpen mee naar Londen. Ieder expeditie lid bewaart een van de zaken. Maar de macht van Tera is sterker dan de dood.
